Over 20 years’ experience as a counsellor and over 10 years as a coach and a supervisor.
Sessions can take place face to face, by telephone or Skype.
Counselling
Using integrated therapeutic techniques including brief solution focused therapy, transactional analysis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
Expertise in cancer, chronic illness, relationships, grief and loss, bereavement, life changes and also proficiency and an interest in all matters relating to the family unit
Focus on helping clients to find strategies to help themselves through greater self awareness and understanding and by recognising and seeking to change any unhelpful patterns of behaviour
Most clients initially attend for 6 -8 sessions
Coaching
Outcome focused work to help clarify direction and make practical changes in personal or professional aspects of life
Work in partnership with client to set goals and develop targets and strategies to meet the goals
Counselling Supervisor
Working with counselling students and qualified counsellors to support their on-going development and emotional well being in their work with clients
